thank you for reaching out! we unfortunately do not sell strip light extensions. If you need more tape light for your project you would need to purchase an additional tape light and attach it to the female end of the tape light. I hope that this helps!

thank you for reaching out to us! All smart floodlights should have a reset button on them as sometimes it is necessary to reset the device. In some models, the reset button is internal and would require a thin sturdy object to depress the button.

Thank you for reaching out to us. if you want to create a scene with different colors and brightness levels, simply to to "smart scenes" and tap the "+" sign or "create scene" and then "launch scenes." Tap the blue circle with the plus sign next to "then" and select "run the device" then select the light followed by "switch," then "on," and finally tap "color light" and select your color and brightness. Now whenever you tap this scene your light will turn on to those parameters. You can create a scene to turn the lights off so that you don't have to do this manually. This is a good question, and luckily the answer is simple. Our tape lights are linkable, simply plug one of the light's male type C connection to the other light's female type C connection. It is important to note that tape lights can only be connected to like tape lights. For example, tape lights with the item number TAPE192/RGBW/AG/RP can be connected to tape lights with the same item number, and TAPE192/CHASE/AG lights can be connected to other TAPE192/CHASE/AG lights. @@Jdb0510 Unfortunately, the strip lights themselves are not sold individually. However, by linking two lights to the control module it creates an extension of one light and both strips will operate as one. If you want to control them individually, then you would need to connect each strip light to its own control module.

It is possible to connect three strips.

The tape light remotes give you the freedom to control your lights if you do not wish to use them with the Feit Electric app. The remote already comes paired with the light and gives you the freedom to turn your lights off and on as well as some effect and color controls. However, if you were to connect the tape light to the free Feit app, you would have expanded control of your tape lights. I hope that this helps. @@trojunhorse76 thanks for reaching out to us, that's very strange. The remote possibly became unpaired during shipment. To start, on the very back of the remote there is a reset button, press that for 3 seconds. On the reverse of the remote, there is an indicator light that will light up once the reset button is pressed. Once you see that light, unplug the tape lights and plug them back in. Then finally, press and hold the power button on the remote until the lights change color, indicating successful pairing.

I'm really sorry about all of this. We do send instruction manuals with all of our products. Additionally, our Customer service team is always available to answer any questions that anyone may have. Again, I do apologize for all of this. I will bring this concern to our team that designs our manuals and we will work to provide better and more information to all of our customers.

@steelcitybirds automations and smart scenes run off of geofencing (weather, time of day, location, etc.) type protocols. The music feature reacts through the device in mention internal music players such as Apple Music, Spotify, UA-cam Music, etc.

@@steelcitytbirds Siri shortcuts are something that we offer, so you can change the color of your lights. However, Siri cannot open other apps therefore the music syncing can be a bit tricky.. I would be happy for 4 or 5 different styles of lights changing seperate from music, just to add them to a routine. "Romantic: slow pink, red, purple lights pulsing randomly" "Rave: 30-40 dif colors random strobe at fast pace" Etc...

Please be advised that these units have built-in "dusk to dawn," and detection of the sun will automatically bypass the "daytime" operation to conserve the battery power of the onesync landscape lights. The built-in dusk-to-dawn feature will not allow use during the daytime, however, you can pair your lights during the daytime.

Hi @PaulAliceJ! For best practice in installing these lamps, it is always best to consult a qualified electrician. In some fixtures, ballast removal might not be applicable, however, in this video we showcased bypassing the ballast.

Hi @fabulouspetmom7629! You are correct, the Type A tubes do not require any rewiring, just install and go. However, in some cases, there might be some issues with your ballast. I disagree, WIZ has a much more intuitive process. Feit has always been extremely complicated and disconnected from the way the brain thinks and works.

I own and love these devices, but you are totally right. The app has one of the worst and most complicated UI's I have ever dealt with. The physical product itself is dope and you can't beat the price, so overall the UX is acceptable. But yeah, I can't wait until the app gets some serious updates. ...or until I can afford to furnish my home with LifX products lol

I am just trying to figure out how to set a schedule to turn on and off the lights a few times each evening. I watch the you tube video but its directions do not match what I see in the app.

Hi Steve Marine, you can have multiple devices (even devices that are not alike) on our app. The true limitation would be the router and how many devices the router can handle/operate.

@The Watcher you are correct the timer is separate from the delay. Essentially the timer is akin to a kitchen timer, to where you can set a device to turn off at your desired time, minutes to hours. The delay function would start a schedule after the set parameters have been met. For example, you set a sunset schedule and add a delay of 5 minutes, then your light would turn on 5 minutes after sunset.

Wtf? Is this a calculus exam? Why can’t I just simply set the lights to go on and off at a certain time? If then statements? Next I’ll have to formulate a null hypothesis just to program the light fixture!!!

Hello John! Our lights work by two methods, one, the automatic, sensing of motion, and to the manual operation of the light, which can also be set to follow a schedule.

Hey Drew, Google/Alexa have their own separate features that incorporate extra options within their own app, that process is called "routines." Each native app will have its own separate limitations as far as compatibility. The Feit App's compatibility is accessing lights groups and shared features such as video viewing and voice assistance.

Hi JAMPROSOUND, thank you for the suggestion. Our App in needing to meet the minimum requirements for emergency location and emergency calling which is available on compatible phones and tablets. Unfortunately desktop applications are not available at this moment, however I will pass this along to our developers for future reference.

Hi jstar1000, Type B is a (Plug & Play) and Direct Wire. If you're direct wiring (Ballast bypassing) this linear tube, it needs to be non-shunted. That means one wire goes to the left entry point and the other wire goes to the right entry point. Check out this website and scroll down to the video. @@feitelectric Actually your wrong, kind of, you can use shunted or non shunted the load is on one end of the bulb and the neutral is on the other. If you have shunted tombstones then only one wire per tombstone is needed on each end, if non shunted then you have to wire each side of the each tombstone on both ends so shunted is the better i.e. easier choice which mine were but either will work you just have more wiring on on shunted ones.

Taylor is correct George! you can have the light change from red to green by going to effects>strobe effect>tap the three lines next to the pencil icon. From there you can select which colors you want your smart light to change to! I hope this helps!

Hello Devan H, this is such an awesome idea! It's nice to see people are getting creative with our smart bulbs! Have you tried using the "effects" option in the Feit app? You might be better off going to Effect> strobe effect> tap the three lines next to the pencil icon> from there you can select the specific colors you want your light to change to.

Hi Sherri sorry for the delay in response. In order to accommodate the desired 6:30 timeframe, there is an option to add a delay from the original sunset time. This delay would be found under the automation tab.
